Privacy Policy

CrownUp collects as little as it can. This policy explains what we process, why, and the choices you have. The controller is CrownUp Labs — see the Imprint.

What we process

• Listings. The URL or @handle you submit, its category, the public title and description we read from it, and your payment amounts and times. Listings are public by design.
• Payments. Handled by our payment provider, which receives your card details directly. We receive the payment status, amount, and the email address used at checkout.
• Usage. Aggregate, cookieless page and click counts used for public stats and to keep the Service running.
• On your device. Your browser stores which listings you created and your recent bids so the boards can mark them as yours. This never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time.

Why

• To run the boards and fulfil the ranking you paid for (performance of a contract).
• To prevent abuse and keep records required by tax and accounting law (legal obligation).
• To understand aggregate use of the Service (legitimate interest).

Sharing

We share data only with processors that run the Service for us — hosting, payments and email — under data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal data or use advertising trackers.

Retention

Listings and their bid history stay public while the Service runs, because the history of the crown is part of the product. Payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your personal data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to legal@crownup.lol. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
